Getting Started
Suitly helps you create, edit, publish, and manage business websites — plus online stores and design assets — from one workspace, on any device.
What Suitly is
With one Suitly account you can:
- Build a website from a blank project or an imported ZIP file.
- Edit pages visually, or directly in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Use AI to generate sections, pages, site copy, SEO, blog posts, and flyers.
- Publish to a hosted URL and connect custom domains on eligible plans.
- Enable an online store with products, orders, checkout, and much more.
- Create flyers, brochures, and books in Design Studio.
- Manage your subscription, AI credits, billing history, and settings.
Creating an account
Sign up with email and password, or with Google.
Email sign-up asks for your full name, email address, password (at least 6 characters), password confirmation, and an optional referral code. After sign-up you land directly in the workspace.
Signing in
Sign in with your email and password, or with Google. After signing in, you land on the Dashboard.
Understanding the Dashboard
The Dashboard shows your website projects. You can:
- View all projects you own, and search them by title or description.
- Open a project by selecting its card.
- Create a new project with the New Project button.
Each project card shows the title, description, and creation date.
Understanding main navigation
- Dashboard — create and open website projects.
- Store Manager — manage your enabled online stores.
- Design Studio — create flyers, brochures, and books for a project.
- Subscription — plan, usage, credits, trials, top-ups, payment history.
- Settings — profile, password, theme, credit summary, sign out.
On desktop, navigation is a collapsible sidebar. On phones, it moves into a drawer.
Creating your first website
- Open the Dashboard.
- Choose New Project.
- Enter the project name and an optional description.
- Choose Blank project or Import ZIP.
- If you plan to sell online, turn on Set up an online store.
- Choose Create Blank Project or Import & Create.
After creation, the project opens in the website editor.
Blank project vs imported ZIP
Blank project is for starting from scratch — it creates a starter index.html and opens the editor.
Import ZIP is for when you already have website files. It accepts a .zip archive, extracts and uploads the files, preserves relative paths, and lets you choose the entry HTML file (usually index.html).
Saving your work
The editor tracks modified files. Choose Save after making changes, especially before publishing. You can also undo and redo recent changes. Design Studio has its own Save action — if you switch away with unsaved design changes, the app asks whether to save, discard, or cancel.
Publishing your first site
- Open a project from the Dashboard.
- Make and save your changes.
- Open Publish.
- Review the Site ID and the fallback URL.
- Choose Publish and wait for progress to finish.
- Open or copy your live URL.
If the project has an enabled store, publishing also regenerates the storefront pages and includes them in the live site.
